First, faux-naked Friday (no models, but doing my best imitation):

And Naked Saturday, courtesy of jameel:

Why is it that Man Parts warrant a warning, and Woman Parts don't? Are we as a society so disgusted by Man Parts as to render this necessary?
max1975 at 2005-11-27 03:08 (UTC) (Link)
Yes. Yes we are.

Actually I usually don't issue any warning because I don't really draw parts. It's just man parts are more visible than woman parts, so more conspicuous by their absence, thus leading to requests for man parts, hence the man parts, and the warning.

Because the common belief in this country is that if a Man looks at Man Parts too long, he is %144.2 more likely to catch the gay.

That's why fake lesbian pornography targeted at heterosexual males is so popular. Many men become very, very uncomfortable when confronted by a Part not their own.

Nope, I don't get it either.

Nah. Everyone knows you only catch the gay from eating pink food! Man parts? Totally harmless!

Pink food? That doesn't include the ham, does it?

Pure, distilled comedy

the gay

Why is adding "the" to the beginning of a disease so funny?
marmal8 at 2005-11-27 16:18 (UTC) (Link)
...and aren't we here to break down those evil stereotypes? I mean, what's more gay than one man coming over and stripping down naked so another man can draw him? But We know better.

Shame on max1975 for the warning. Look! You saw unsolicited man parts and you didn't turn gay! There must be more to sexuality than viewing! (Or, if you did turn gay, methinks there was a little gay there already!)

And shame on jameel for calling it a disease above.

Shame on everyone!
max1975 at 2005-11-27 21:28 (UTC) (Link)
Ack! I had no idea I'd be unleashing so much shame.

I totally picked up the "shame on you" thing from one of my students. Shame on me, I guess.

Yay Manparts! Thanks, Max!

I would make a comment about Jameel's penis, but I think I already did.

Oh yeah. You know the one I mean. :)

You're quite welcome.

Also, max, I love the style of your model-free drawings. Very expressive faces with representational bodies.
max1975 at 2005-11-27 21:33 (UTC) (Link)
Thanks. Better model-free drawings was the reason I wanted to draw naked people in the first place...
